Food Recovery

We have partnered with Sources to pilot a project to use recovered food to make into nutrious meals.

So far, the quality of food has been excellent and the meals we've been able to make have surpassed our expectation.

We have been able to give our clients an increased selection of frozen meals with this new program!

Home From the Hospital

  • Working together with our local hospital

We also provide meals for those at-risk who are coming home after a stay at our local hospital. This program provides 5 days of free meal delivery, along with the watchful eye of our caring volunteers.

Clients are identified and referred by Langley Hospital staff or family physicians.

Subsidy Program

Langley Meals on Wheels supports those in financial need with our Meal Subsidy Program. Clients are identified and referred through a local agency or government service qualified to make the determination of eligibility.

Once an agency refers a client to our subsidy program, we will set up delivery so those in need start receiving meals at a reduced rate or no cost. It’s that easy!

Medwatch Program

Get your vital medical information and health care wishes to emergency responders and physicians in emergency situations.

We work in partnership with Langley Division of Family Practice to help seniors complete their MedWatch forms and document Advance Care Planning wishes. Call us to arrange for a volunteer visit one on one.
